Wanderly
Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 September 2026
In short: Wanderly is a free app for planning trips with friends. Be kind in the chat, only share invite links with your group, and remember the map information may not always be right.
About Wanderly
Wanderly lets groups of friends suggest places, vote on them and chat while planning a trip. It's a free service run by an individual developer (“the organiser”, “we”). By signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Age requirements
- Under 13: you may not use Wanderly.
- 13 to 17: you may use Wanderly only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who should read these terms and the Privacy Policy with you.
- Before signing in, everyone must confirm they meet these requirements. If we learn that someone doesn't, we'll delete their account and data.
- Parents or guardians who think their child is using Wanderly without permission can contact us to have the account deleted.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
Using Wanderly fairly
Please don't:
- harass, threaten, bully or insult anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content
- post anything illegal, or other people's private information without their permission
- spam, or post misleading places or links
- try to access projects you weren't invited to, get around the app's security, or use bots or scripts against the app
- share a project's invite link with people who shouldn't be in that group
Your content
- The messages and places you post stay yours. You let us store them and show them to the people in your project so the app works.
- Anyone in a project can delete places. You can delete your own messages. The project's owner (the person who started it, or whoever it was handed to) can remove any message in that project.
- You can report a message you think breaks these terms. The project's owner will see the report.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Projects and invite links
Anyone who opens a project's invite link and signs in joins that project and can see its places, votes and chat. Only share it with your group. If you leave a project, your vote is removed. If the last person leaves, the project and everything in it is deleted.
Suspending accounts
If someone breaks these terms, we may remove their content, take them out of projects, or block their account from using Wanderly.
Map and place information
Maps, MRT stations, bus stops and place search results come from OpenStreetMap and other sources. They may be out of date or wrong. Check opening hours, prices and directions yourself before you travel. We aren't responsible for the places listed or for anything that happens at them.
No guarantees
Wanderly is provided “as is”, free of charge. It may have bugs, be unavailable at times, or change or stop without notice, and data could be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important, such as bookings.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage from using Wanderly, including lost data, missed plans or problems with places you visit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for bigger changes we'll let you know in the app. Using Wanderly after a change means you accept the new terms.
